Trisodium Phosphate

Chemical Name: Trisodium Phosphate

Molecular Formula: Na3PO4,Na3PO4·H2O, Na3PO4·12H2O

Molecular Weight:  Anhydrous: 163.94; Monohydrate: 181.96; Dodecahydrate:  380.18

CAS: Anhydrous: 7601-54-9; Dodecahydrate: 10101-89-0

Character: It is colorless or white crystal, powder or crystalline granule. It’s odorless, easily soluble in water but insoluble in organic solvent. The Dodecahydrate lose all crystal water and become Anhydrous when temperature rise to 212 ℃. Solution is alkaline, slightly corrosion on skin.

Product Detail

Usage:  In food processing industry, it is used as buffering agent, emulsifier, anti-caking agent, antioxidant additive, nutrition supplement and metal chelating agent.
Packing: It is packed with polyethylene bag as inner layer, and a compound plastic woven bag as outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25kg.
Storage and Transport: It should be stored in a dry and ventilative warehouse, kept away from heat and moisture during transportation, unloaded with care so as to avoid damage. Furthermore, it must be stored separately from poisonous substances.
